First of all, man I'm not the best at updating this thing!! Sorry about that, and I hope to get better!

Anyway, It seems like there's been several rebates that I've been getting ready to submit, so I'll post them here so I don't forget about them or miss their deadlines! Also this way I can keep track of whereabouts they are and when I get them back.

Today's mail...

FREE issue of Oprah magazine
Sample of Greenies Cat "dental" treats

McLovin really likes these treats. Which is surprisingly because he has never been much of a treat cat. Maybe it's because these look like kibble? I opened the bag, and it's on the living room floor right now... And he's digging into it. Yeah he's a big fan apparently!!

Update soon on my K-Mart double coupons adventure, and this week at WAGS.

Woohoo!! @ CVS & Walgreens

Today was a nice day, bargainwise and other... We started by going to CVS:

3 12-pk Diet Pepsi (not pictured... 1's already opened and the others are just too dang heavy!), I'd already purchased another for the 4/$8 deal earlier in the week... $8.25

True North Nut Mix...$3.00

Some "mini" school supplies... 2 pks erasers, 4 rulers, and 2 staplers, 75% off... as a teacher, I love to have a stock of these sorts of things, to give as rewards and prizes... DH tried to tell me that they were only 50% off and silly me believed him, or I would have picked up more!! $1.04

Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse...
$9.49
Maybelline Colossal Volume Mascara... Maybelline cosmetics were B1 G1 50%... $3.49

I had a $1.00 manu for the nuts, $1.00 manu for the mascara,
and $2.00 manu for the foundation...

Also used $3 ECB from the Adidas deodorant...

Total: $18.42 OOP & got $3 ECB from the pop... so grand total:
$15.42!

Also went to WAGS!!

DH left my wallet with my Walgreens receipt in his car... Talk about unsafe! We live in an apt complex for crying out loud... But it's 1:30 AM and he refuses to go out and get it for me... So I'm going off memory here...

Alright well when I found out that there was a $5 off $20 coupon out there, I figured I'd go by a few items that I would normally get at Wal*Mart... Plus I had a RR that expired...

The "needed" items:

Roll of Spiderman wrapping paper... $3.29
Birthday card (nephew turns 4) ...
.99
An envelope kind of folder thing, to organize bills...
$1.30 ish
Sweet Tea (doing a unit on southern cooking from
Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry)... not pictured, I forgot to include it, .99

Then I figured I would get the October FAR items...

Rimmel foundation...
$7.00 something
L'oreal Cleansing Wipes
... $7.99

I also got 3 lighters for
$2.00... I don't smoke, but I do light candles and I am super accident prone and always burn myself on the typical lighters. So I got these ones because they were 1. in pretty colors, 2. on sale 3. equipped with a little safety latch/button so I won't burn myself!!

Then I saw there was a sale on Pert Plus with the IVC, which is $2.50 off. Well they had changed the IVC so it was actually B2 for $1.00!! And I had a $1.00 manu! So I walked away with 2 shampoos
FREE! Yeah!!

Then I figured that was it, but then the cashier asked me if I wanted 20 Hebert's chocolate bars for $1.00. When I was at another WAGS last week they were
10 for $1.00. Wow I could not pass up this bargain!! And it's darn good chocolate too!!

So I think my total was $30.00 something. Then I used my $4.50 RR from the Crest wash, Pert Plus coupon, and my $5 off $20 purchase coupon. I am so angry because I had a $1.00 off the L'Oreal wipes, in my coupon binder, in the cart, and I totally forgot!!!!! So mad!! Granted it's FAR, but hey!! I wanted some overage.

Anyway!! After that, I paid $18.82 OOP. With 2 rebates, it comes to (don't quote me to the cent here since I'm lacking my receipt for the time-being)
$3.41!! Awesome!!

Then DH and I went out for dinner and fun at Dave & Buster's. We paid $30.65 for our two meals and soft drinks plus the $5.00 tip. But I had $30 in free game play from My Coke Rewards, so we didn't have to pay to charge our cards! We ended up racking a ton of tickets too. I got 400 tickets on one game, and I won 500 on this spin the wheel game called Big Mouth Bass!! We cashed in a small amount of tickets for a basketball hoop game (DH's choice), some slime that comes in a nose case, and a pencil case with a calculator on top (I'll be bringing this couponing!). Oh and won a bear in the claw machine.

We will be hitting up WAGS again tomorrow to take advantage of another $5 coupon, and to buy the Energy Shot drinks that are FAR, Scrubbing Bubbles (I have a MIR), maybe some cookies to get some RR, and some oddities.

Walgreens Week of Sept 14-20

I am fairly new to couponing/rebates... But I think I did okay this week... Here's my WAGS loot...

Hairbrush (which I really needed... Two of our three hairbrushes are nasty and uncomfortable) $3.79
Wii Candy Dispenser... marked at 50% off... I decided to get it for hubby's birthday as a little gag gift... .42
L'oreal Preference hair color... which again, I really needed... $8.99 but I used a $2 Easy Saver coupon... $6.99
Hubby got a Butterfinger candy bar... .75
Dental Floss picks, pk of 90, were BOGO, again something I needed... 2/$2.99
L'Oreal Anti-Wrinkle Revitalift... finally found it!.. $12.36
And here's the kicker... Hebert Fully Loaded candy bars, which are originally $1.99/each, were marked down to 10/$1.00!!!! Not 10/$10... 10/$1.00!!! 10 cents each for some good, huge chocolate!! Nice! 10/$1.00

Also used a $4.50 RR from the Crest Pro Rinse Mouthwash from last week

Total for 17 items... $25.77, and I will be submitting a rebate for the anti-wrinkle cream... So total: $13.41

Back??

Greetings... I've been absent from this blog for over a year now, and I've decided to revamp it and actually start writing again. This time I think I'll post about other stuff I do to save money, like grocery shopping. And maybe I'll just post whatever my heart desires... Who knows...

Welcome to my site!

Hello! Below you will find a comprehensive list of the best money-making websites out there! I have covered a wide spectrum: paid to post, paid to read, paid to click... even paid to play games! All of these sites are FREE and LEGITIMATE. I am in process of posting proof-of-payment for each, please check the very bottom for links. First let me tell you a little about myself.

My name is Terri and I have been looking into ways to make money online for a few years now. As a college student, it is nice to earn a little bit of extra dough to pay bills. I am also an Amazon bookseller, so if you need a book for cheap check me out here.

Now before I let you loose on my site, here are a few suggestions and tips I have for you:

1. Get a new email address set up (gmail is great in my opinion). This will serve as your "junk" email, so that you don't lose important emails. Also, sometimes signing up for programs generates spam.

2. Pick and choose. Doing all of these suggested sites may indeed become overwhelming. It will make earning money tiring and you'll want to quit all together. Experiment, and stick with only your favorite sites.

3. Try to get referrals! You can often earn money each time you get a referral. Ask friends and family or better yet, link them to this site!

4. Enjoy yourself! And if you have any questions, I'm a click away: cheapterri@gmail.com, or leave a comment here.

Peace and good fortune, Terri
